When Lightening Strikes

Today is our last full day here in Destin. Sad to leave but that's also what's great about how long we stay here - also feels like it's time to head back.

Today was the first day it's rained the whole trip so not everyone headed to the sand. But our clan and Mimi & Papa enjoyed the clouds, sprinkles, thunder and lightening (in the distance - don't freak) one last time.

How did we spend it?

Noah surfed (on the sand of course)...



I buried my darling husband in the sand as any good wife should...

And Lincoln decided that looked like a good idea, so I buried him, too. :)

Happy last day. The rest was spent by the pool (the sun did come out finally), and now we're about to head out to attempt a big huge family picture on the beach (I WILL be camera ready this time!) before hitting up the outlet mall and dinner.
