Okay moms...I feel like I'm in a food rut of what to feed my 17-month old for breakfast and lunch (he usually eats what we all eat for dinner). I can eat the same thing for both every single day for over a year before I get bored but I feel like this might not be so good for the little one. :) So I'm curious...what are some fun things you feed your toddler that they actually enjoy (ha. that's the key)?

Oh man, I don't know if I have any suggestions that you haven't already tried, but I'll tell you what we do and if it works for you, great! For breakfast I give Caleb a container of yogurt (usually Yoplait) that is tall enough to be sturdy (not the kid kind) so he can feed himself with a spoon. HILARIOUSLY messy, but it works great. Then he either eats a waffle (Eggo if we're in a hurry) or Kashi Vanilla hot cereal. For lunch we always do some kind of fruit and either a sandwich or frozen chicken nuggets. I know, gross, frozen chicken nuggets. But, again, they're great if you're in a hurry (um, cooked, of course!). He also loves "cheese sticks" (string cheese). I always try for fruit/veggie, protein, dairy. He gets calcium from his milk, but I like for him to get other varieties of dairy, too.
Good luck!!
