Then we watched daddy work some of his magic on the court (he's still got it people!). Then Jason watched him at the gym while I met my supervisor for supervision at the coffee shop from 9:00-10:00pm. So none of us got home till around 10:00 - like I said, late night for the Link Man.
But I, the good mother, knew this and was prepared - Lincoln got in a 2.5 hour nap late in the afternoon and was geared up to make it a late night.
And what a good mood this little sucker was in all night! After playing and talking and jumping and throwing, I thought he'd crash right there in the gym from exhaustion. But he made it to the house and crashed around ten in his crib when daddy got him home. Usually, this means he's out till morning - especially going to bed that late.
You see, one of my favorite things to do is watch this little angel sleeping...so after he was snoozing for some time, I crept in his room to get my fix of the peaceful coos around 11:30pm and was greeted with this:

Yes, my friends, this is what we call Lincoln's COBRA POSE. And he was full-fledged in it. With a huge smile spread across his face. I just started laughing and reached for my camera because I was fully expecting a sleeping baby. He wasn't even making any noises - just wide awake, getting some midnight playtime in, apparently.
So, being the good mother that I am (ha), I got him up for half an hour and we played. Yes. Me, Lincoln, and Bruce Wayne.
