Baby Visit & "Sand" Stones

So last night was sheer and utter misery as my little stones (which happen to only be the size of a grain of sand!) decided to cause major inflammation of my kidneys...translated that means excruciating pain for hours, no hope of being comfortable, and my poor husband not being able to sleep either because I'm squirming in pain trying to find the least painful position. Again, like the night before, i fell asleep painless as the sun was coming up. :(

But on a good note, we had our doctor visit this morning to mark the beginning of 6th month...the doc checked everything out today on baby Lincoln, including his heart, lungs, kidneys (which were thankfully in better shape than mine!), and spinal development and said everything looks perfect!!! We got a picture of baby Lincoln sucking his thumb...it was seriously amazing. I would post it but we don't have a scanner. And as of today I now weigh 127lbs (that's a 12-pound total weight gain) and doc said everything's moving along great!!

MELISSA IS HOME!!!!!!!!! And no I'm not talking about myself in the third person. Melissa Keane. One of my best friends ever finally came home from Ukraine and it was so fun to catch up and talk about some of the kids she's working with that we worked with together 3 years ago.

Tonight we went over to the Dee's house to visit with them for a while. We haven't seen them in a few weeks now, though I have been keeping up with her blog weekly. If you want to be greatly inspired by an amazing woman of God, read VickiDees.blogspot. God is changing lives because of this woman's courage and strength!

Well hopefully I can actually make it through the night tonight pain-free and get more than 3 hours of sleep...that would be nice :)
